Luboš Fišer (born September 30, 1935 in Prague ; † June 22, 1999 ibid) was a Czech composer , film composer and director .

Live and act

Born in 1935 in the Czech capital, Luboš Fišer completed his studies in Prague in 1960 at the Conservatory and the Academy of Arts and Music , among others with Emil Hlobil . As a composer and director of more than 300 films he is successful worldwide. With his work 15 leaves after the Apocalypse by Albrecht Dürer from 1965 he was awarded the UNESCO Prize in Paris in 1967 . With the soundtrack to Bludiště moci he won the 1979 Premio Italia price, with the soundtrack to Zlati uhori he won in 1980 the Prix Italia and in 1995 for the soundtrack to Golet v udoli the Czech Lion .

Avant-garde techniques (graphic notation and aleatoric) appear in his works. His originality lies in his very personal way of handling the subjects of his works with special repetition and modification techniques. Finally, he returned to a precise notation that fits his refined, concise, intense and high-contrast style. As an artist affected by the environment, he also places warnings in his music.
