Valeska from Roques

Valeska von Roques (* 1939 in Berlin ) is a German journalist and author .

Life

Roques studied Protestant theology and history in Tübingen and Hamburg . From 1963 to 1965 she wrote for the newspaper Vorwärts . From 1965 to 1968 she was part of the editorial team of the NDR television magazine Panorama and then she worked for a Hamburg film production company . She worked as a correspondent for the German print magazine Der Spiegel in Rome , New York City and Paris , among others . As an author she wrote several books and in her books she deals in particular with the Vatican in Rome. Roques lives in Hamburg.
