Location of Valetsberg in Bavaria

The hamlet of Valetsberg is part of the district town of Wunsiedel in the district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtel Mountains (northeast Bavaria). It is three kilometers north of the city, on a hill west of the road to Bibersbach-Röslau. In 2000 there were 16 people living in Valetsberg.

history

Valetsberg is documented in an invoice from 1421/22 when the farmers had to hand over eggs as interest to the margravial bailiff zu Hohenberg. In 1818 the purely rural settlement came to what was then the municipality of Hildenbach , and after the regional reform in 1978 to the city of Wunsiedel.
