The village of Wintersreuth is a district of the district town of Wunsiedel in the district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtel Mountains (northeast Bavaria), three kilometers east of the city center in the valley of the Röslau river. In 2000, 55 people lived in Wintersreuth.

history

The settlement was first mentioned in a document in 1421/22, when the local farmers had to pay the margravial bailiff in Hohenberg annually eggs as interest. In 1818 the place came to what was then the municipality of Holenbrunn .
