history

Hildenbach was first mentioned in a document from 1421/22, when the residents had to give eggs to the margravial bailiff of Hohenberg as interest. In 1818 the political community Hildenbach was formed with the places Göringsreuth , Hildenmühle and Valetsberg , in 1978 it was incorporated into Wunsiedel .
