The village of Wintersberg is a district of the district town of Wunsiedel in the district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtel Mountains (northeast Bavaria), 3.5 kilometers east of the city center. In 2000 there were 18 people living in Wintersberg.

history

The settlement was first mentioned in a document in 1421/22, when the local farmers had to pay the margravial bailiff in Hohenberg annually eggs as interest. In 1818 the place came to what was then the municipality of Holenbrunn .
