Valroufié ( Occitan : Valrofiér ) is a village and a commune déléguée in the French commune of Bellefont-La Rauze with 446 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lot department in the Occitania region .

On January 1, 2017, the municipality of Valroufié merged with Cours and Laroque-des-Arcs to form the Commune nouvelle Bellefont-La Rauze. It belonged to the Arrondissement of Cahors and the canton of Cahors-2 (until 2015: canton of Cahors-Nord-Est ).

geography

Valroufié is located about nine kilometers north-northeast of the city center of Cahors on the southwestern edge of the Massif Central and the Cevennes . The municipality of Valroufié was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Francoulès in the north, Cours in the east, Vers in the southeast, Lamagdelaine and Laroque-des-Arcs in the south and Saint-Pierre-Lafeuille in the west.

The A20 autoroute runs through the commune déléguée .
