The Vandœuvre (also called Long in the lower reaches ) is a river in France that runs through the regions of Center-Val de Loire and Pays de la Loire . It rises in the northwestern municipality of Rouziers-de-Touraine , generally drains north-west along the A28 motorway and, after around 22 kilometers, flows into the Escotais as a right tributary in the municipality of Dissay-sous-Courcillon . On its way, the Vandœuvre crosses the Indre-et-Loire and Sarthe departments .
