Veron is a free application software that is mainly used for playing audio, video and image processing on PCs with the 32-bit Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 operating systems. The software has three parts: Veron Player, Veron Calculator, and Veron Quick.

- Veron Player: The player can play high definition media files. Various media file formats such as 3GP , AVI , ASF , FLV , Matroska , MOV (QuickTime) , MP4 , NUT, Ogg , OGM , RealMedia , Cinepak , DV , H.263 , H.264 / MPEG-4 AVC , HuffYUV are supported , Indeo , MJPEG , MPEG-1 , MPEG-2 , MPEG-4 , RealVideo , Sorenson , Theora , WMV , AAC , AC3 , ALAC , AMR , DTS , FLAC , Intel Music Coder, Monkey's Audio , MP3 , Musepack , RealAudio , Shorten , Speex , Vorbis , WMA , Bink . The player can also play and record audio files from CDs, record streams and also has a media file converter. Further functions are the display of music visualizations and subtitles. The player also has a YouTube video downloader and is able to play Internet radio .
- Veron Calculator: The Veron Calculator is a programmable calculator and can do normal and complex calculations.
- Veron Quick: Veron Quick monitors the speed of the Internet connection, has a function for translating texts as well as e-mail notification features and file protection options.
Program languages and codecs
Most of the Veron code was written in VB.NET . C # and C ++ were used for other parts. The Veron player uses MPlayer and FFmpeg - codecs to play audio and video files.
