Administrative community Gardelegen-Land

The municipalities of Algenstedt , Estedt , Hottendorf , Jävenitz , Jerchel , Jeseritz , Kassieck , Letzlingen , Lindstedt , Potzehne , Roxförde , Schenkenhorst , Seethen , Wannefeld , Wiepke and Zichtau in Saxony-Anhalt were in the administrative community Gardelegen-Land until January 1, 2005 Altmarkkreis Salzwedel merged. When the VG was dissolved, it was merged with the VG Mieste, which had also been dissolved, to form the new VG Südliche Altmark .
