The administrative community Helbetal was in the Thuringian Kyffhäuserkreis . The city of Ebeleben and ten communities had come together in it to carry out their administrative business. The seat was in Ebeleben.

The administrative community was founded on December 20, 1990. The dissolution took place on September 1, 1995. The communities Kleinbrüchter and Toba were incorporated into the community Helbedündorf , while the remaining communities remained independent. Ebeleben became the fulfilling parish for the remaining eight parishes on October 20, 1995.
