history

The administrative community was founded on March 25, 1992. On November 29, 1994 Trebra was added. On January 1, 1996 Niederbösa came to the administrative community. On December 1, 2010, the city of Großenehrich joined the administrative community. On December 31, 2012, the municipality of Oberbösa was added from the dissolved Kyffhäuser community .
