The administrative community Marienberg was an administrative community in Saxony, consisting of:
- Marienberg with the districts Stadt Marienberg, Gebirge, Gelobtland , Hüttengrund, Kühnhaide , Lauta , Lauterbach , Niederlauterstein , Reitzenhain , Rübenau and statutes .
- Pobershau with the districts of Pobershau and Rittersberg .
The administrative community came into force on January 1, 2000. The municipality of Hirtstein was also part of the administrative community until it was incorporated into Marienberg on January 1, 2003. In the joint committee from 2000 to 2002 the city of Marienberg had four seats, Hirtstein three seats and Pobershau three seats. Marienberg was a fulfilling community and administrative seat. With the incorporation of Pobershau to Marienberg on January 1, 2012, the administrative community was dissolved.
