The administrative community Schönfeld is an administrative community in the Free State of Saxony in the district of Meißen . It is located in the northeast of the district, about 14 km west of Königsbrück and 10 km east of the city of Großenhain . The community area is located on the southern edge of the Niederlausitzer Heidelandschaft nature park on the eastern edge of the Großenhainer care . To the north of the community area lies the border with the state of Brandenburg . The federal highway 98 runs through Schönfeld and Quersa . The federal motorway 4 , which runs through the community area, can be reached via the connections Thiendorf and Schönborn .
With the incorporation of Weißig am Raschütz to Lampertswalde, a municipality left the administrative community.
