The administrative community Waldenburg is an administrative community in the Free State of Saxony . The community area is located in the northeast of the Zwickau district on the border with Thuringia , about 5 km north of the large district town of Glauchau in the valley of the Zwickauer Mulde . The federal highways 175 and 180 and the Zwickau – Grimma railway line run through the municipality . The area can also be reached from the federal motorway 4 running south via the Glauchau-Ost connection .
