Vicente Bokalic Iglic CM (born June 11, 1952 in Buenos Aires ) is Bishop of Santiago del Estero .

Life

Vicente Bokalic Iglic joined the religious community of the Lazarists on March 1, 1970, made his profession on June 5, 1976 and the Bishop of Zárate-Campana , Alfredo Mario Espósito Castro CMF , ordained him on April 11, 1978 as a priest .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on March 15, 2010 auxiliary bishop in Buenos Aires and titular bishop of Summa . He received his episcopal ordination from the Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Jorge Mario Cardinal Bergoglio S.J. , on May 29 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Andrés Stanovnik OFMCap , Archbishop of Corrientes , and Mario Aurelio Poli , Bishop of Santa Rosa .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Santiago del Estero on December 23, 2013 . The inauguration took place on March 9 of the following year.
