Victor Henry Thakur
Victor Henry Thakur (born July 1, 1954 in Chakhni , Bihar , India ) is Archbishop of Raipur .
Life
Victor Henry Thakur received on 3 May 1984, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On June 27, 1998 appointed him Pope John Paul II. The bishop of Bettiah . The Archbishop of Ranchi , Telesphore Placidus Toppo , donated him episcopal ordination on November 11 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Raipur , Joseph Augustine Charanakunnel , and the Bishop of Muzaffarpur , John Baptist Thakur SJ .
On July 3, 2013, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Raipur. The inauguration took place on September 19 of the same year.
