The Victoria Park is a football stadium in the Scottish town of Dingwall , County shire Ross . Opened in August 1929, it is the home of the Ross County club , which plays in the Scottish Premiership . It has a capacity of 6,000 seats.
In July 2012, the club signed a contract with the Global Energy Group on the right to name the stadium. The home of Ross County is now called Global Energy Stadium . Following promotion to the Scottish Premier League in 2012, the club invested £ 1.7m (€ 2.17m) in renovating the venue to meet SPL requirements. The stadium is now equipped with 6,000 seats. There were a soil heating installed and a new lawn, expanding the parking and performed the most necessary work.
The record attendance with 8,000 spectators came from a cup game against Glasgow Rangers on February 28, 1966.
