The New Douglas Park (also known as The Academy is known) is a football stadium in Hamilton , Scotland . It is the home ground of Hamilton Academical and was completed in 2001.

The capacity is 5,510 places. The attendance record is 6,007 visitors, achieved in the game Hamilton Academical against Celtic Glasgow on January 17th, 2015.

Together with Rugby Park in Kilmarnock , New Douglas Park is currently one of two stadiums in the Scottish Premiership that are equipped with artificial turf .
