Victorio Manuel Bonamín

Victorio Manuel Bonamín SDB (born October 19, 1909 in Rosario ; † November 11, 1991 ) was an Argentine religious and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in the Argentine military ordinariate .

Life

Victorio Manuel Bonamin joined the religious order of the Salesians of Don Bosco in and received on 7 July 1935, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On January 27, 1960 Pope John XXIII appointed him . as titular bishop of Bita and auxiliary bishop in Buenos Aires and in the Argentine military ordinariate. The Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Antonio Cardinal Caggiano , ordained him episcopal on March 20 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Salta , Roberto José Tavella SDB, and the Bishop of Morón , Miguel Raspanti SDB.

Bonamín attended the second and fourth sessions of the Second Vatican Council . On April 22, 1975, Victorio Manuel Bonamín resigned as auxiliary bishop in Buenos Aires and on March 30, 1982 as auxiliary bishop in the Argentine military ordinariate.
