Victory is the Jackson’s 15th studio album. It was released on July 2, 1984 by Epic Records and is the group's most commercially successful album. The album is the first and only at the time of which all six Jackson brothers were members of the band. It will also be the group's final album with lead singer Michael Jackson as a member.

history

After broadcasting the TV show Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever , Jermaine Jackson decided to record an album with the Jackson Five after nine years. Each member sang at least one piece on the album, Jermaine sang the song Torture and his brother Michael Jackson the duet with Mick Jagger State of Shock . Both sang the track Waiting in a duet . On the bonus tracks One More Chance and The Hurt you could also hear backing singers. The singles State of Shock and Torture are the only ones to which music videos exist, and the sales success of the album was carried through the hit State of Shock . To promote the album, the Jacksons went on the Victory Tour .
