Viersen Busbahnhof is an important public transport hub in the North Rhine-Westphalian district town of Viersen . It is located in the center of Alt-Viersen and is one of the main connecting points for public transport in the Viersen district .
Location and structure
The bus station is on Lindenstrasse. Around it are the Rathausmarkt, the Viersener Stadthaus, the Forum, the Rathauspark and the district administration. The bus station has eight bus platforms, which are numbered 1 and 3 to 9 and are arranged in a harp except for platform 1. There is also a taxi rank at the bus station.

The bus station is served by all lines in Alt-Viersen apart from the Mönchengladbach bus route 007 which ends in Heimer . The bus lines SB88, CE89, 082, 083 and 084 provide the connection to Viersen train station .
The lines are usually cross-city and connect Viersen with the cities belonging to the district as well as the neighboring city of Mönchengladbach and cities in the Rhine district of Neuss . The only main town in the Viersen district that is not connected to the Viersen central bus station is Tönisvorst - St. Tönis .
