The Haus Meer tram stop is a stop of the Düsseldorf tram in Meerbusch in the Büderich district at the northern end of the development. It is named after the manor house of the same name . It is located on the K-Bahn , an intercity tram from Düsseldorf to Krefeld . In Meerbusch, the station is the most important connection point between the tram and the bus lines. The tram connects Haus Meer with the Krefeld center ( main train station ) as well as with the Düsseldorf center and its main train station . The buses serve as a feeder to the tram and run radially from the Haus Meer station to all parts of Meerbusch as well as to the neighboring cities of Krefeld, Neuss and Willich and beyond to Viersen .
history
The station on the Düsseldorf – Krefeld line, which went into operation on December 15, 1898, was opened on September 27, 1990 as a junction between the light rail, bus routes and the park-and-ride car park.
The Haus Meer station , which has existed since the opening of the K-Bahn and where the M line to Moers branched off until October 20, 1958 , was renamed Forsthaus at that time .
Location and structure
The tram stop is in Meerbusch - Büderich near the Haus Meer , which gives it its name . In principle, it is at the point where Büderich ends to the north. The station is on the surface and has a central platform and sweeping tracks , as it is the end point of the U74 outside rush hour . The bus stops and a large P + R car park are located north of the train station.
service
The stop is served by three lines of the Düsseldorf Stadtbahn . The U70 and U76 trams connect the tram station to Krefeld Hbf in 17 (U70: 16) minutes and to Düsseldorf Hbf in 23 (U70: 21) minutes . In addition, the U74 runs from the Stadtbahn station from Meerbusch-Görgesheide to Düsseldorf-Holthausen .
