Vijak Bayani

Vijak Bayani (born May 17, 1970 in Wuppertal ) is a German actress with Iranian roots.

Life

As the daughter of a doctor, Vijak Bayani grew up in Diepholz, Lower Saxony , and graduated from the Graf Friedrich School there. From 1983 she was trained in tap dance, singing and acting, in 1993 she received the stage maturity examination. Between 1989 and 1992 Bayani played at the Bremen Theater and the Junge Theater there ; she also had engagements in 1993 at the Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord in Wilhelmshaven and in 1994 at the Hanover Theater Workshop.

Between 1994 and 2004 Vijak Bayani worked extensively in front of the camera. In addition to roles in the series Aus heiterem Himmel , Die Schule am See and Die Rettungsflieger , she was seen as guest in Adelheid and her murderers , Großstadtrevier or Der Alte . Bayani became known to a predominantly younger audience in the character of Jivana , which she played in the German edition of Sesame Street between 1995 and 2001 .

In addition, Bayani works as an acting coach and in speech training, she is a dubbing artist and speaker for the television station Arte and sings in a Hamburg choir.

Married since the mid-2000s, Vijak Bayani lives with her husband and two children (* 2005 and 2008) in Hamburg.
