Viktor Engel

Viktor Engel (born October 31, 1900 in Reutlingen , † August 20, 1976 in Stuttgart ) was a German lawyer and district administrator in the Ellwangen and Aalen district .

Life

Born as the son of a sheet metal shop owner, Engel studied law in Tübingen , among others , where he became a member of the Tübingen royal society Roigel in 1919 . After his exams in 1923 and 1926/27 he became deputy magistrate in Stuttgart. In 1929, he went into the inner Württemberg management into Oberamt Balingen and was Councilor ; In 1931 he was an official administrator in the Balingen regional office. In 1933 he became a member of the NSDAP (No. 3.220.082). In 1933 he was transferred to the Esslingen District Office and to the Ministry of Economics in 1934 . There he became a government councilor in 1934 and a laborer in the office of the Reich governor in 1935 as well as provisional and then final district administrator in Ellwangen. In 1937 he worked again in the office of the Reich governor and was employed as administrative administrator in Aalen, where he became district administrator in 1938. In 1943 he was also an official administrator in Heidenheim for some time . In 1944 he worked in the Ministry of the Interior . From 1945 to 1946 he was in the US internment camp in Ludwigsburg . In 1946 he became an insurance employee, then an unskilled worker in the Württemberg-Hohenzollern Ministry of Economics . In 1952 he became government director and head of business section V (foreign trade and interzonal trade) in the Stuttgart Ministry of Economic Affairs . In 1958 he became a ministerial advisor and retired in 1965.
