Villa Vicentina (in the Furlan dialect: Vile Visintine or la Vila ) was a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1373 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2016) in the province of Udine in Friuli-Venezia Giulia , since February 1, 2018 it is part of the newly established municipality of Fiumicello Villa Vicentina . The municipality is located about thirty kilometers south-southeast of Udine . Until 1466 the municipality was called Camarcio .
history
Until the end of the First World War, the municipality was part of the county of Gorizia and Gradisca , subordinate to the judicial district of Cervignano , which in turn was part of the district of Monfalcone .
