History and description
The Villa Waldfriede was built in 1898 . The three-storey hotel guesthouse is stylistically part of the Wilhelminian style architecture . Noteworthy details are the elaborate decorative elements on the facade , parapets , cornices , garments , pilaster strips , columns , door panels, window bars , richly designed lead glazing and the central projection with the neo-baroque windows and a neo-baroque portal .
Monument protection
The Villa Waldfriede was built as the first house in the villa colony . The building is typical of the splendor of the Wilhelmine era . The villa is a cultural monument for architectural, architectural and urban history reasons .
