Village Open 2006

The 2006 Village Open took place October 9-12, 2006 in New York City , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2006/07 and belonged to the 5 Star category . The tournament was held for the first time and was endowed with 85,000 US dollars.

David Palmer prevailed in the final against Mohd Azlan Iskandar with 11: 6, 11: 9 and 11: 8.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Julian Illingworth a spot in the main draw.
