Vincent Edouard André Koziello (born October 28, 1995 in Grasse ) is a French football player . The central midfielder is under contract with 1. FC Köln and was loaned to the Portuguese club CD Nacional for the 2020/21 season.

Career

societies

Koziello started playing football in La Roquette-sur-Siagne near Stade Olympique Roquettan and joined the AS Cannes youth team in 2006 . He moved to OGC Nice in 2013 and played a total of 84 Ligue 1 games from November 2014 . In the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons he played with OGC in the group stage of the Europa League.

On January 16, 2018, Koziello was signed by Bundesliga club 1. FC Köln , with whom he signed a contract that runs until June 30, 2022. In the second half of the 2017/18 season he played twelve times in the Bundesliga and at the end of the season he was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga as bottom of the table. After the 2018/19 season , he rose again to the Bundesliga as a second division champion with the Cologne team; Koziello had played 14 league games. In the first half of the 2019/20 season, he only played twice in the second team of 1. FC Köln in the Regionalliga, he was not used in the Bundesliga.

At the end of January 2020, Koziello was loaned to the French second division club Paris FC until the end of the season. As a result of the cancellation of game operations in France in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic , he played six of seven possible games for Paris. At the end of the season he returned to 1. FC Köln when the loan expired. In mid-August 2020 he was loaned to the Portuguese club CD Nacional for the 2020/21 season. CD Nacional was promoted to the top division this season.

National team

Koziello played on November 13, 2013 in the 3: 4 defeat against Germany once for the French U19 national team . At the end of March 2015, he played two games for the U20 team . On June 2, 2016 Koziello came in the 1-0 win against Italy for the first time for the U21 . In total, he made four appearances with two goals for the selection.

Koziello is of Polish descent on his father's side and would therefore also be eligible to play for the Polish senior national team.
