Vincenzo Lojacono
Vincenzo Lojacono (born July 18, 1885 Palermo , † 1954 ) was an Italian diplomat .
Life
Vincenzo Lojacono studied law and entered the foreign service in 1907. In 1909 he was Legation Secretary in London . In 1911 he was employed in the Colonial Ministry. From 1913 to 1915 he was chargé d'affaires in Lisbon . In 1915 he was in the military. In 1919 he was promoted to Legation Councilor in 1923 to Minister. In 1924 he headed a department in the Foreign Ministry . In 1929 he was promoted to ambassador. From 1932 to 1934 he was ambassador in Ankara , Turkey . From 1934 to 1937 he was ambassador in Nanjing , China . From 1938 he was ambassador to Rio de Janeiro , Brazil . From 1939 to 1940 he was ambassador to Brussels , Belgium . In 1948 he was retired .
