Vladan Krasavac (born April 15, 1971 in Loznica ) is a Serbian - Bosnian handball player .

Career

The 1.97 meter tall goalkeeper began his career at the Serbian club Metaloplastika Šabac . After moving to Jugopetrol Železničar Niš, his international career took him to clubs in Italy, Slovenia, Macedonia and Switzerland. He played 34 international matches for the Yugoslav national team, plus 30 international appearances for Bosnia. His successes also include eight national titles in Serbia, Italy and Switzerland. At European level, he has experience from five times participation in the EHF Cup , twice participation in the EHF Challenge Cup and participation in the EHF Champions League . In 2008 he moved to Germany to the HSG Wetzlar . In 2010, his contract was not extended and Krasavac was replaced by Miloš Hačko . From May 2011, the Bundesliga club VfL Gummersbach , replacing the injured Goran Stojanovic, was under contract until the end of the season.

Private

Krasavac is a trained horticultural engineer. He is married and has two daughters.
