Vladimir Jugović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Владимир Југовић , born August 30, 1969 in Milutovac near Trstenik , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Serbian football player who played for Yugoslavia .

During his career he played in right and attacking midfield and was under contract with some of the top European teams. He could u. a. win the European Champion Clubs' Cup or the Champions League twice .

Vladimir Jugović was named the best player in the 1991 World Cup final . In Red Star's 3-0 victory over CSD Colo-Colo , he scored two goals.

He also converted the decisive penalty kick in the penalty shoot-out of the 1996 Champions League final in Rome to win his team Juventus Turin against Ajax Amsterdam .

National team

Vladimir Jugović completed 41 international matches for Yugoslavia and for the successor team Serbia and Montenegro . He made his debut in August 1991 against Czechoslovakia . The midfielder took part in the qualifying games for the 1998 World Cup and the 2000 European Championship .
