Wladyslaw Wadymowytsch Wyschnewskyj ( Ukrainian Владислав Вадимович Вишневський , English transcription: Vladyslav Vyshnevskyy ; born  September 23, 1998 ) is a Ukrainian snooker player from Tscherwonohrad . He was three times Ukrainian champion in six red snooker (2016, 2017, 2018).

In December 2009 Wladyslaw Vyshnevskyj took part for the first time in the Ukrainian championship and reached the quarter-finals, in which he was defeated by Ruslan Ostrowskyj 3-0. A year later he reached the final of the final tournament of the Ukrainian Cup, in which he had to admit defeat to defending champion Serhiy Issajenko 1: 3, and at the national championship in the round of 16. Previously, at the U21 World Cup in 2010, his first participation in an international championship had ended with just one win out of seven games in the preliminary round. The 2011 U21 European Championship was more successful for him , in which he defeated Rodion Judin and Lukas Kleckers in the group phase and finally reached the round of 32, in which he lost to Nick Jennings (1: 4). In the same year he achieved good results in several Eastern European tournaments. For example, he reached the semi-finals at the Kyiv Open and the Sharpei Snooker Cup 2011 and even made it into the final at the Minsk Open 2011, in which he had to admit defeat to the Belarusian Arzjom Smahin 2: 3. At the Ukraine Trophy 2011 he was eliminated in the quarter-finals against Serhiy Issajenko.

In the 2011/12 season Vyschnewskyj took part for the first time in a tournament of the Players Tour Championship , a partial series of the Snooker Main Tour open to amateurs . At the Warsaw Classic 2011 he reached the main round with a 4-1 qualifying win against Aleksander Zok from Poland , but in which he had to admit defeat to professional Andrew Pagett 4-1. A little later he reached the quarter-finals at the final tournament of the Ukrainian Cup and was eliminated from the national championship in the round of 16. In 2012 he reached the round of 48 at the U21 European Championship , in which he lost clearly to Alexander Ursenbacher , and at the men's European Championship , in which he participated for the first time, to the round of 64. Shortly before, he had the final of the CIS Cup lost 2: 4 to Issajenko. At the Ukrainian Cup final, he made it into the final for the second time after 2010, but had to admit defeat to Issajenko again (0: 4). A little later he won the Sharpei Amateur Cup. In November 2012 he made it to the semi-finals of the Ukrainian championship for the first time and lost 3-0 to defending champion Alan Trigg .

After he was eliminated in the sixteenth-finals against the eventual finalist Ashley Carty at the U21 European Championship 2013, Vysnevskyj won a tournament of the Ukrainian Cup for the first time in May 2013 with a 4-1 win against Serhiy Issajenko. At the final tournament of the series in September he was defeated in the quarter-finals to the eventual cup winner Artem Koschowyj . A little later he took part in the men's amateur world championship for the first time . In the preliminary round, however, he only won against Uladsislau Kalinouski and was eliminated as sixth in the group. At the end of the year he was eliminated in the preliminary round of the Ukrainian championship. In early 2014 Wyschnewskyj retired at the U21 European Championship in the round of 64. In September 2014 he moved into the final of the Ukrainian Cup final and was only narrowly defeated by defending champion Artem Koschowyj (4-5). A little later he reached the semi-finals for the second time after 2012 at the national championship and lost to Serhiy Petrasch . In the U21 juniors he was eliminated in the quarterfinals against the eventual winner Vitaly Pazura .

In September 2015 Vyshnevskyi won a tournament of the Ukrainian Cup for the second time, this time in the final against Denys Khmelevskyi (4-1). In the same year he was eliminated from the national championship and the cup final tournament in the quarter-finals. At the beginning of 2016, he won his third tournament victory in the Ukrainian Cup against Julian Boiko (3: 1). In June 2016 he became Ukrainian champion in the snooker variant Six-Red-Snooker for the first time with a 4-1 final win against defending champion Serhij Issajenko . With the fourth and fifth tournament of the year, Wyschnewskyj achieved two tournament wins in a row at the national cup, each in the final against Serhiy Petrasch. At the final tournament he met Petrasch again in the final, but now he had to admit defeat 2: 3.

In June 2017 Vysnevskyi managed to defend his title in the national Six Red Championship by beating Oleksandr Sakharov 4-0 in the final . A little later he reached the semifinals of the Minsk Snooker Cup, where he lost 3-2 to Mateusz Baranowski from Poland . In October he moved into the final of the Ukrainian championship for the first time, in which he had not participated the previous year. On the way to the final he hadn't lost a single frame, but in the final he had to admit defeat to Artem Koschowyj 2: 4. In November he played for the second time in the amateur world championship after 2013 and this time reached the round of 64, in which he lost 4-2 to Mubashir Raza . Before that, Vyshnevskyj had not participated in international championships since 2014. Vyschnewskyj won the first two tournaments at the 2017 Ukrainian Cup. At the final tournament in December, however, he was eliminated in the semifinals against Serhiy Issajenko.

At the beginning of 2018 Wyschnewskyj reached the sixteenth finals at the U21 European Championship , in which he was defeated 3: 4 to Englishman Hamim Hussain , and at the men's European championship the round of 64, in which he defeated former professional Darren Morgan 2: 4 had to. A little later he won the first two tournaments of the Ukrainian Cup in 2018. In April 2018, he became Ukrainian Six Red Snooker Champion for the third time in a row with a 5-1 final win over Julian Boiko. In 2018, Ukrainian players Boiko, Issajenko and Vyshnevskyj were registered for the first time for the Q School Main Tour qualification tournament . Vyshnevskyi withdrew his participation at short notice.

Pool

In December 2017 Vyschnewskyj took part in the Ukrainian championship in pool for the first time. He started in the disciplines 8-ball and 9-ball and was eliminated from both competitions in the preliminary round without having won a rack.
