The EBSA U21 European Snooker Championship 2012 was the 16th edition of the Junior European Snooker Championship organized by the European Billiards and Snooker Association . It took place from 6 to 10 March 2012 in the Hotel Dedeman Princess in the Bulgarian capital Sofia .

The Scottish Michael Leslie became European champion with a 6-2 victory in the final against the Englishman Shane Castle . Leslie qualified for the Main Tour seasons 2012/13 and 2013/14 .

The 75 participating players were divided into twelve groups of six or seven players each, in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The four best placed in each group qualified for the final round, which was played in the knockout system .
