People on the move & The Reichsbote is (ViB) as a right-wing extremist and neo-Nazi classified magazine . It has been published by the neo-Nazi Nordland Verlag in Fretterode, Thuringia , since 2008 and is the follow-up project to Volk in Movement. Quarterly magazine for a new order , published from 2000 to 2007 by the Hohenberg publishing and media company . Risen in the The Reichsbote. Gazette of the Free State of Prussia. Newspaper for politics, economy and culture (2004–2008). The editor is the militant neo-Nazi Thorsten Heise .

The activities of the journal were the subject of numerous reports on the protection of the constitution , so it is classified as neo-Nazi in the 2009 report on the protection of the constitution by the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI). According to Jörg Geibert , Interior Minister of Thuringia, the magazine published "mostly neo-Nazi and historical revisionist " articles. In particular, it is also about the German war guilt issue . In some cases, anti-Semitic conspiracy theories are being spread and corresponding “language codes” are used, according to the Independent Expert Group on Anti-Semitism at the BMI. Christoph Kopke , anti-Semitism researcher, also locates the periodical in neo-Nazism and refers to the Nordland-Verlag from the Third Reich. The specialist journalist Anton Maegerle describes the journal NS -apologetisch and names right-wing extremist speakers at reader meetings from other European countries.

According to the federal government, the identity movement was portrayed positively several times in the magazine .

The authors of the paper include a. Ulf Bergmann , Rigolf Hennig , Gerd Honsik , Sascha Krolzig , Horst Mahler , Richard Melisch , Alois Mitterer , Bernhard Schaub , Dietrich Schuler , Silvia Stolz , Tomislav Sunić , Angelika Willig and Gerd Zikeli .

Furthermore, both AfD circles and the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution see it as certain that Björn Höcke wrote for the magazine under the pseudonym Landolf Ladig . Höcke denies this, but repeatedly refused to swear the denial.
