The old main building in Turmstrasse

In 1875 the advance payment association built the first bank building on Turmstrasse. Since the business premises were no longer sufficient, the association decided to extend and enlarge the main building for the first time in 1913.

At the request of the German Cooperative Association, the advance payment association changed its company name in 1942 to "Volksbank Lörrach registered cooperative with limited liability". In the years to come, the first branches were built in the Lörrach district. In addition, it was merged with Volksbank Kandern in 1965 .

The new main office in Tumringer Strasse

In 1968 Volksbank Lörrach decided to build a new main building on Tumringer Strasse. Only two years later the Volksbank Lörrach moved into this building and in the same year took over the Raiffeisenkasse Inzlingen .

The current Volksbank Dreiländereck was created through the merger of Volksbank Lörrach and Raiffeisenbank Markgräflerland in 1998. In the same year, a complete renovation of the former main building in Turmstrasse was carried out. The branch in Weil am Rhein was completely rebuilt and modernized in 2006.

In 2008 the construction of the new headquarters began, which was finally opened on May 5, 2009. The Binzen, Inzlingen and Efringen-Kirchen branches were modernized in 2013 and 2014.
