WWE Afterburn is a television show produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) that summarizes the events from the Smackdown show . Along with WWE Bottom Line doing the same for WWE Raw , it replaced the previous show Jakked . The television show ran in the United States from May 2002 to September 2005 on various channels, but was canceled after 172 shows. However, it continues to be produced and is aimed at the international market.

Broadcasts

In the Middle East , the show is broadcast on Sundays on MBC Action TV. The transmission times differ depending on the country. It was first broadcast in Malaysia on May 6, 2011 on Astro SuperSport 4, and is now on Astro Prima. In South Africa, eKasi + takes care of the broadcast.

From 2008 to 2010, WWE Afterburn aired in Australia and was the only free WWE show there, as Raw , Smackdown , NXT and WWE Superstars were broadcast on the paid channel Fox8 . After his appointment, WWE Experience took his place. Since December 2014, however, the TV program can be received again via 7mate .
