Vadim Wladimirowitsch Rifel ( Russian Вадим Владимирович Рифель ; born February 19, 1979 in Ust-Kamenogorsk , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh ice hockey player who has played for Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk in the Russian Vysschaja Hockey League since 2006 .

Career

Rifel played from the juniors until 2004 with the Kazakh top club Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk . In 1999 he made the leap to the first senior team of the team, which played in the second-rate Vysschaya League . With this he won the title of Kazakh Champion five times between 2000 and 2004 and the national cup three times between 2002 and 2004 .

In the summer of 2004, the Kazakh striker moved to Germany , where he played for Wölfe Freiburg in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey . After two years there, he returned to his homeland. There he hired his home club, with whom he again won the national championship title and cup in 2007.

International

Rifel played for Kazakhstan for the first time at the U20 Junior World Championship in 1999 . In the senior division, he was deployed at the Division I World Championships in 2001 , 2007 and 2008 and at the 2004 and 2006 World Championships . He also took part in the qualifiers for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver in 2009 and was part of the squad for the 2007 Asian Winter Games .
