Wadim Wladimirowitsch Schischkin ( Russian Вадим Владимирович Шишкин ; born November 2, 1995 in Nizhny Tagil ) is a Russian ski jumper .
Career
Vadim Schischkin starts for the club in his hometown Nizhny Tagil . He made his debut on July 13 and 14, 2013 in Villach in the FIS Cup , where he finished 71st and 56th. In the course of the season he started in other FIS Cup competitions. On March 15, 2014, Schischkin made his debut in a competition in Nizhny Tagil in the Continental Cup and took 33rd place. In September 2014 he took his first Continental Cup point with a 30th place in Trondheim .
On December 13 and 14, 2014, Schischkin made his debut in the World Cup , also in Nizhny Tagil , but only finished in 50th and 48th place.
On July 31, 2015, Schischkin competed in the Summer Grand Prix for the first time as part of a team competition in Wisła ; the Polish team, however, only finished tenth. His debut in an individual competition took place on August 8, 2015 in Hinterzarten , where he was 48th. He scored his first points in the Grand Prix as 21st in Tchaikovsky in September 2016 .
At the Winter Universiade 2017 in Almaty , Kazakhstan , Schischkin took 19th place in the individual competition.
