The Altenburg I constituency was a state electoral district for the state election in Thuringia in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Thuringia. Its constituency number was 30.

The constituency comprised parts of what was then the district of Altenburg with the following cities and communities: Altenburg , Ehrenberg , Ehrenhain , Frohnsdorf , Göpfersdorf , Kosma , Langenleuba-Niederhain , Lehndorf , Mockern , Nobitz , Wilchwitz , Windischleuba , Jückelberg and Ziegelheim .
