The constituency of Leipzig, Land II was a state electoral district for the state elections in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. It had constituency number 14. For the state elections in 1994 , the constituency structure was changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. The area of the electoral district of Leipzig, Land II was also distributed to several constituencies as a result of incorporation into Leipzig and area changes, including the electoral districts of Leipziger Land 2 and 3 .
The constituency comprised the following municipalities and cities in the Leipzig-Land district , which were mainly in the south and west of the district: Böhlitz-Ehrenberg , Burghausen , Frankenheim , Gaschwitz , Göhrenz , Großdalzig , Großdeuben , Großlehna , Hartmannsdorf , Kitzen , Knautnaundorf , Kulkwitz , Lausen , Markkleeberg , Markranstädt , Miltitz , Quesitz , Räpitz , Rückmarsdorf , Scheidens , Schkorlopp , Störmthal , Wachau and Zwenkau .
