The constituency of Stollberg I was a state electoral district for the state election in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. Its constituency number was 66.

The constituency comprised parts of the Stollberg district : Beutha , Brünlos , Dorfchemnitz , Erlbach-Kirchberg , Hohndorf , Leukersdorf / Erzgeb. , Lugau / Erzgeb. , Neuwürschnitz , Niederdorf , Niederwürschnitz , Oelsnitz / Erzgeb. , Stollberg / Erzgeb. and origin .

For the 1994 state elections , the constituency structure was changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. The area of ​​the constituency of Stollberg I was almost completely absorbed in 1994 in the constituency of Stollberg .
