Attractions

The Catholic Church of St. Radegundis is a choir tower church , which was built in 1818 by master mason Alois Haslinger from Langweid and master carpenter Joseph Krön from Göggingen according to plans by Johann Michael Voit . The centralized hall building with an eastern tower (with a tent roof) was the first church building in Swabia after secularization . The house designed in rural classicism is almost unchanged in its appearance. The nave had to be rebuilt in 1969 after a collapse. The centerpiece are the bones of the church patroness St. Radegundis under the high altar. The high altar painting from 1735 with the coronation of Mary was created by the Augsburg painter Johann Evangelist Holzer .
