Waldenburgertal

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Waldenburgertal (also front Frenkental ) extends along the Vorderen Frenke from the Upper Hauenstein to the confluence with the Hinteren Frenke at Bubendorf zur Frenke .

The Waldenburgertal is not congruent with the political district of Waldenburg , as this also includes communities in the neighboring Fünflibertal .

The catchment area of the Waldenburg Valley includes the villages of Hölstein , Niederdorf , Oberdorf , Waldenburg and Langenbruck in the Swiss canton of Basel-Landschaft . In a broader sense, the elevated villages of Ramlinsburg and  Lampenberg on the valley sides are also included.
