The Waldrandgraben is a tributary of the Altmühlüberleiters near Pfofeld in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . Before the creation of the Franconian Lake District , the water flowed further northeast at from the right into the Brombach .

The stream rises at a height of 425  m above sea level. NN north of Rehenbühl . It flows steadily northwards. After a run of around 800 meters, it empties at an altitude of 412  m above sea level. NN at the chicken mill in the Altmühlüberleiter.
