The Walker Bay ( Afrikaans Walkerbaai ) is a large bay in the South Atlantic . It is the largest bay between False Bay near Cape Town and Cape Agulhas in the southeast, the southernmost point of the African continent . The adjoining coastal areas belong to the district municipality of Overberg in the South African province of Western Cape .

The bay is a marine reserve and part of the adjacent mainland is part of the Walker Bay Nature Reserve . The fish and the use of boats is prohibited in much of the bay.

Stretches of coast
