Walter Bressan (born January 26, 1981 in Oderzo ) is an Italian football goalkeeper .

Career

society

Bressan signed his first professional contract in 1998 with Atalanta Bergamo , from whose youth he came. However, he was never used there, instead he was awarded to Spezia Calcio and FC Treviso , where he was able to gain first experience and was also able to celebrate promotion to Serie B as first place . In 2003 he moved to AC Pavia in the third division , where he made 45 appearances. After moving to the US Arezzo in 2005, he guarded the gate 50 times and was temporarily loaned to US Grosseto , where he was a regular goalkeeper.

In 2008 he switched to US Sassuolo , who played in Serie B at the time, and here, too, Bressan was number one between the posts for a long time, only in the middle of the 2010/11 season did he lose his regular seat to Alberto Pomini and therefore switched to league rivals AS Varese , where he was set again. With AS Varese he reached the play-offs of the 2011/12 season , where they failed only in the final against the later promoted Sampdoria Genoa .

For the 2014/15 season , Bressan was signed by AC Cesena , who had been promoted to Serie A the previous season . At Cesena, however, Bressan was a substitute goalkeeper, only on the last day of the match did he make his Serie A debut against FC Turin , which was less successful as the game was lost 5-0. In 2015 he moved to Chievo Verona as a substitute goalkeeper . He has been without a club since 2017.
