Walter Kremershof (born December 3, 1922 in Krefeld ; † September 17, 1997 there ) was a German ice hockey player .

Career

In the 1950/51 season , Kremershof won the German championship with KTSV Preussen Krefeld . In the decisive game on March 2, 1951 against EV Füssen , the Prussians were able to leave the ice as the winner after a 2-0 deficit with 3-2. In addition to Kremershof, the Swede Gösta Johansson and Latvian Ēriks Koņeckis were part of the championship team.

A year later he took part with the German national team in the 1952 Winter Olympics in the Norwegian capital Oslo , where he scored five goals in 8 games. He played a total of 28 games in the national team's jersey.

Until 1967 Kremershof played for the Prussians Krefeld, only in the 1961/62 season the Krefeld played at EC Oberstdorf . He was later inducted into the Hall of Fame of German ice hockey.
