Warrensburg is a city in Johnson County in the US state of Missouri . Warrensburg had 16,340 inhabitants at the 2000 census . It is the seat of the University of Central Missouri (UCM) with 12,000 students.
Demographics
The 16,340 inhabitants of Warrensburg determined in the census in 2000 lived in 5951 households; including 3,035 families. The population density was 748 per square kilometer. 6380 residential units were recorded in the village. Among the population were 86.9 percent white, 6.5 percent African American, 0.6 percent American Indian, 2.8 percent Asian, and 0.9 percent of other races; 2.3 percent said they belonged to several ethnic groups.
