The Weidas , also called Weidasserbach , is an approximately eleven kilometer long right tributary of the Selz in Rheinhessen .

The Weidas rises near Freimersheim and flows into the Selz tributary from the south-west near Framersheim . From its source to Dautenheim it is also known as the Aufspringbach or the Kettenheimer Bach . It flows through one after the other Wahlheim , Kettenheim , Dautenheim and Gau-Heppenheim . Between Dautenheim and Framersheim the Weidas flowed through the Mohrenmühle until the land consolidation was carried out from 1954 to 1956 .
